I stumbled upon this article while browsing technorati (when I should have been doing homework).
As the “owner” of a breed that has the potential to be banned by BSL, I keep my eyes and ears open to opinons and news. BSL sucks..
What makes this article from the KC Dog Blog different is the author of the blog has taken a new article and made his own comment.

And yes, BSL is a perfect example of bad public policy…and bad public policy sucks.
I don’t know if you’ve seen it or not, but Wal-Mart recently asked a woman to take her service dog and leave the store because her dog was a pit bull, which is an “unstable and vicious breed.” I’m not sure if this will come through on your blog or not, but here’s the link to the woman’s website: http://www.freewebs.com/chloethepitbull/index.htm
I actually just saw that on your blog. That really frosts me… I posted about it on a few message boards I read. There is also a woman in Canada who has a Pitbull service dog and she had to fight to get her licensed again.. it was unreal the fiasco she went through
You would think getting a dog licensed as a service dog would be enough that they wouldn’t have to go prove themselves any more. Guess not!
